West Herr Donates Thousands of Turkeys to Western New York Families

Automotive Group's Generosity Brightens Thanksgiving for Many in Need

In a heartfelt display of community support, West Herr Automotive Group has once again stepped up to ensure that families across Western New York can enjoy a bountiful Thanksgiving meal.

This year, the company donated over $100,000 worth of frozen turkeys and more than 5,000 bags of Thanksgiving-related food items to local organizations dedicated to assisting those in need.

The initiative kicked off with a significant contribution to the Response to Love Center in Buffalo, where hundreds of turkeys and accompanying food items were delivered.

Congressman Tim Kennedy expressed his gratitude, emphasizing the importance of community support during the holiday season.

He noted that such donations provide families with the opportunity to gather, share traditions, and create lasting memories.

In Rochester, the generosity continued as 300 turkeys and bags of food were distributed at the West Herr Auditorium Theatre.

Mayor Malik Evans highlighted the city's reputation as the most neighborly in America, attributing such acts of kindness to the community's spirit.

He thanked West Herr for their substantial donation, which supports Thanksgiving dinners for hundreds of families.

West Herr's President and CEO, Scott Bieler, expressed his appreciation for the community's support, stating that the donations are made possible by the customers and employees who contribute to the cause.

He emphasized the company's pride and gratitude in being part of such a wonderful community and their commitment to helping those in need.

In addition to these efforts, West Herr partnered with the City of Buffalo for the annual Thanksgiving Dinner Drive.

Acting Mayor Christopher P. Scanlon joined forces with West Herr, Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Tops Friendly Markets to deliver 300 turkeys and full Thanksgiving dinner packages to families across the city.

Mayor Scanlon praised the community's generosity and the importance of coming together to support one another, especially during the holiday season.

These collective efforts underscore the spirit of giving that defines Western New York.

Through substantial donations and collaborative initiatives, West Herr Automotive Group and its partners have made a meaningful impact, ensuring that thousands of families can celebrate Thanksgiving with a hearty meal and a sense of community.
