The World’s Largest Rubber Duck Is Back in Buffalo This July

Mama Duck is coming back and she is enormous.

Buffalo, brace yourselves—Mama Duck is making a grand return, and she's bringing her charm to the waterfront this July.

The World's Largest Rubber Duck, affectionately known as Mama Duck, is set to grace Canalside from July 3 to July 5, marking her first appearance in Buffalo since 2016. Towering at six stories tall, she promises to be an unmissable sight. This time, she's accompanied by her 10-foot-tall duckling, Timmy, doubling the delight for visitors.

As part of the city's Fourth of July weekend festivities, celebrating 250 years of American independence, the duck duo will be stationed on land, offering fans a unique opportunity to get up close and personal. This change allows for more intimate photo opportunities and interactions, ensuring your holiday weekend snapshots are the envy of your friends.

Beyond the ducks, the weekend is packed with activities. On July 3, the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra will perform a free concert at Terminal B, starting at 7 p.m., culminating in a spectacular fireworks display over the waterfront. The festivities continue with a rubber duck giveaway, duck-themed sidewalk art, face painting, and a variety of vendors, including a pop-up from BuffaLove Apparel.

Don't miss out on this unique blend of whimsy and celebration. Mark your calendars and prepare to welcome Mama Duck and Timmy back to Buffalo's waterfront.
