Shea's Performing Arts Center has unveiled the 2026-27 season lineup for Shea's 710 Theatre, set to commence in September with the Tony Award-winning musical "Hair."
Brian Higgins, president and CEO of Shea's Performing Arts Center, emphasized the significance of this season, stating, "With this exciting season at Shea’s 710 Theatre, we continue to build on our commitment to energize Buffalo’s Theatre District as a vibrant destination for arts, culture, and community."
The MusicalFare 2026-27 season includes:
"Hair" - Sept. 17 – Oct. 4
"Sweeney Todd" - Oct. 22 – Nov. 8
"Frozen" - Nov. 28 – Dec. 20
"The Wedding Singer" - March 4 – 21, 2027
"Beautiful: The Carole King Musical" - Apr. 29 – May 16, 2027
Randall Kramer, MusicalFare’s artistic and executive director, expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming season, noting, "MusicalFare looks to build on that success with a diverse and electric 2026-2027 season of musicals."
The Frey Electric 2026-27 season features:
"The SpongeBob Musical" - Jan. 14–31, 2027
"Miss Holmes" - Apr. 2 – 11, 2027
"Mean Girls" - June 3 – 20, 2027
Kent Frey, president and CEO of Frey Electric, highlighted the company's ongoing support, stating, "Frey Electric is proud to continue as the lead sponsor of Shea’s 710."
In 2025, Shea’s 710 Theatre underwent a $5 million renovation, introducing a two-story lounge and cabaret, updated restrooms, concessions, and box office, as well as a new outdoor patio on Main Street.
