Cyclists Gear Up for June Event Benefiting Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center |
Registration is now open for the 31st annual Ride for Roswell, a cherished cycling fundraiser dedicated to supporting the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.
This year's event is scheduled for Friday, June 26, and Saturday, June 27, at the University at Buffalo's North Campus.
Participants can choose from nine routes, ranging from a family-friendly 4-mile ride to a challenging 100-mile journey.
Notably, a new 44-mile Niagara Falls route has been introduced, replacing the previous Canada route due to construction.
This scenic path allows riders to traverse Goat Island and capture memorable photos before returning to the university.
All riders aged 16 and older are required to raise a minimum of $200 to participate, with the Niagara Falls route having a higher fundraising commitment of $750.
Those who raise $1,500 or more will earn Extra Mile Club status, recognizing their exceptional fundraising efforts.
In 2025, the Ride for Roswell set a new fundraising record, amassing $6.1 million and bringing the event's 30-year total to over $86 million.
These funds are instrumental in advancing cancer research, clinical trials, and patient care programs at Roswell Park.
Andrea Gregory, the event's director, expressed her gratitude: "The Ride Community is incredible. From our fundraisers to our volunteers and community partners, each person plays a critical role in the continued success of the event. Their efforts are fueling change in the world of cancer care, and together, we are truly making a difference for the cancer patients of today and tomorrow."

Join the movement and pedal towards a future without cancer. |
