Free Carousel Rides Being Offered For Spring Break

Canalside Activities for Families off from School

Spring break is upon us, and families in Buffalo have a delightful opportunity to create lasting memories at Canalside. The Buffalo Heritage Carousel, a cherished gem on the waterfront, is reopening its doors for the season with a series of special events tailored for all ages.

To kick off the festivities, the Carousel is offering free rides on Friday, April 3, from 10 a.m. to noon. This is a perfect chance for both children and adults to experience the joy of this historic, solar-powered attraction. Adding to the excitement, the Easter Bunny will make appearances from 10 a.m. to noon and again from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., ready to greet visitors and pose for photos. Face painting sessions will be available from noon to 2 p.m., free for all riders, ensuring that everyone leaves with a smile. To sweeten the deal, complimentary popcorn will be provided, and select toys and candies will be offered at a 20% discount.

The celebration continues on Saturday, April 4, with Buffalo Bandits Spirit Day. Fans are encouraged to don their favorite Bandits gear to enjoy a special buy-one-get-one-free ride offer. The Easter Bunny will be back for more fun, and face painting will once again be available, adding to the day's festive atmosphere.

For those unable to attend the weekend events, the Carousel has extended its hours throughout spring break week:
