Buffalo Music Series at Ralph Wilson Park begins July 6

The Buffalo Music Series features seven free, family-friendly concerts

The Buffalo Music Series is set to kick off on July 6 at Ralph Wilson Park, offering seven weeks of free, family-friendly concerts.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own picnics, blankets, and lawn chairs to enjoy the performances. Additionally, each week will feature a variety of rotating food trucks and local vendors, enhancing the community experience.

Live music has a unique power to unite neighbors and breathe energy into our shared public spaces, creating experiences that foster connection, support culture, inspire joy, and strengthen neighborhood bonds and communities, said Marnetta Malcolm, vice chair of the Ralph Wilson Park Conservancy Board and founder of Buffalo FunkFest and Friday Night Live on Jefferson Ave.

The concert series will take place every Monday from July 6 through August 17, with performances starting at 5:30 p.m. The lineup includes:

July 6: Organ Fairchild & The Brass Machine

July 13: The Unity Band

July 20: Wendell Rivera

July 27: D’Mott

August 3: Lynn Drury & Jony James Blues Band

August 10: Will Holton & Drea d’Nur

August 17: La Krema

The concerts will be held in the section of Ralph Wilson Park that remains open during construction, near the Centennial Pool and splash pad, located at 5 DAR Drive, just off Porter Ave.

This series is supported in part by the Levitt Family Foundation, which partners with changemakers and nonprofits to strengthen the social fabric of communities in America through free, live music in outdoor public spaces.
