‘Billieve Together’ Bus Tour Ignites Playoff Spirit Across Western New York

M&T Bank's community initiative rallies Buffalo Bills fans ahead of postseason

The Buffalo Bills' playoff fever swept through Western New York as the ‘Billieve Together’ Bus Tour made its rounds, uniting fans in a spirited celebration.

On Thursday, the tour commenced at Seneca One Tower in downtown Buffalo, where enthusiasts gathered to the beats of the iconic ‘Shout’ song, collected exclusive giveaways, and had the opportunity to meet former Bills center Eric Wood.

The journey continued to Westminster Community Charter School, bringing joy to students, followed by a heartfelt visit to Golisano Children’s Hospital. The final stop was at Southgate Plaza in West Seneca, where the community's energy was palpable.

Tracy Woodrow, M&T Bank's chief administrative officer and WNY regional president, emphasized the deep bond between the team and its supporters, stating, “At M&T, we really believe that our community and our Buffalo Bills are totally entwined. We are so excited to just drum up support and show the team that the community is behind them.”

Adding to the excitement, Buffalo Mayor Sean Ryan shared a friendly wager with Jacksonville's mayor, highlighting the camaraderie and playful rivalry that football fosters.

Hundreds of fans attended the stops throughout the day, many already energized for the upcoming playoffs. While the Bills will not host a home playoff game this season, city leaders say the economic impact will still be felt across the region.

Ryan said fans are expected to pack local bars and restaurants, continuing to support Western New York businesses despite the team playing on the road.
