Froth Brewing Co. Announces Taproom Closure Amid Shifts in Buffalo's Food and Beverage Scene |
Froth Brewing Co., a cherished fixture in Buffalo's craft beer community, has announced the impending closure of its taproom on Military Road, effective February 1, 2026.
This news follows closely on the heels of Allen Burger Venture's recent declaration that it will cease operations at the end of January, citing challenges faced by small, independent restaurants in the evolving Buffalo food scene.
Established in 2019, Froth Brewing Co. quickly became a beloved destination for beer enthusiasts, offering a diverse selection of craft brews and fostering a vibrant community atmosphere.
While the taproom is set to close, fans of Froth Brewing can take solace in the fact that some of their signature beers will continue to be brewed and made available at various local retailers throughout the 716 area code.
In a heartfelt message shared on social media, the owners expressed their gratitude: "What began as a small dream grew into something so much bigger, a place filled with laughter, friendship, and community."
Unlike Allen Burger Venture, which attributed its closure to the changing dynamics of Buffalo's food landscape, Froth Brewing Co. has not provided specific reasons for shutting down its taproom.
Throughout January, the taproom will maintain its regular hours: Wednesday and Thursday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. It will remain closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
For those wishing to enjoy one last pint, Froth Brewing Co. is located at 700 Military Road in Buffalo.
The closure of Froth Brewing Co. underscores the broader challenges facing the food and beverage industry in Western New York, as beloved establishments navigate an increasingly competitive and shifting market landscape. |
