100’s of Butterflies to be Released in New Immersive Experience in Buffalo

Buffalo's Botanical Gardens is set to unveil an enchanting new attraction this summer: the Butterfly Experience.

 

From May 16 to July 19, visitors can immerse themselves in a vibrant world filled with hundreds of live butterflies.

 

This unique exhibit offers an up-close encounter with species such as swallowtails, monarchs, painted ladies, and red admirals.

 

It's a rare opportunity to witness these delicate creatures in a lush, tropical setting.

 

Adding to the excitement, the Gardens are introducing a special Butterfly Release event on select Friday and Saturday mornings.

 

Participants will enjoy early access to the conservatory, learn about the butterflies' life cycles and behaviors, and even assist in releasing them into the exhibit.

 

These intimate sessions are limited to 15 people, ensuring a personal and memorable experience.

 

General admission for the Butterfly Experience is priced at $21 for adults and $9.50 for children aged 3-12.

 

Tickets for the Butterfly Release are $27 for adults and $18 for children.

 

Given the popularity of these events, purchasing tickets in advance is highly recommended.
